Additional column header in Matrix visual

I have the below matrix where the column headers (1,2,3) are the days of the given month, what I want to achieve is to put the name of the day below the number as well (Mon, Tue, etc). I have a column which tells me the exact name of the given date, however when I try to add that to the column nothing happens. Any suggestions on how to solve this?

    check if this is something that you are looking for,

    if yes then use dayname in the column field of matrix visual after dayno.
