Adding subtotals to a table

Hi,

I'm aware that you can subtotal data in a Matrix but I wondered if there is any way to subtotal data in a table in Power BI? Here's an example of my data, I want to be able to subtotal the Awaiting Maintenance time by Work Area. However I have a number of other columns of data which get messed up when I try to enter all this into a matrix:

Thanks.

Hi @Anonymous ,

It's not supported. Do you consider to add a column to get the subtotal for specific group? If so, you may use ALLEXCEPT() function.

Jay

Hi @Anonymous ,

You cannot add a subtotal to a table, has you refer you can do it on matrix.

There is an option to create a disconnected table and add the subtotals rows and then create your table visualization and add a custom calculation for each value.

Other option is to go for the matrix and only setup the measure for the ones that are being messed up.

Can you please give more specifications on what you want to show and what get's messed up.

Regards

Miguel Félix
