Hi there,
I've added a parameter to my data model, but the performance has subsequently slowed down significantly. Has anyone had similar experiences? I've given up on publishing the dataset, as it's really slow..
Would appreciate hearing if anyone has similar experiences/recommendations
Cheers

Hi @Anonymous
Sorry for my limited information. I'm working in version: 2.98.1004.0 64-bit (oktober 2021), using import as connection mode.
It turned out to be a issue with my internet provider that day, and I've since been able to update and publish my model with parameters.
I would delete this post so I don't confuse others with it but I can't seem to see how. Instead I'll accept this as a solution, since it was just due to an internet problem..
Thanks for your time
HI @rebeccaETE,
What version of power bi desktop are you working on? What type of connection mode are you using? Anything specific on your data source? Please share some more detailed information to help us clarify and troubleshoot your situation.

@amitchandak No, it was a very simple parameter with type=text, that I wanted to use in my template for the report builders in the org. My thought was for the template to prompt them for the name of their report, and automatically fill it in relevant places in the template.
