Adding a measure to a table visual eliminates rows

Hi. I'm not even sure of how to ask this question, so please be patient with me. I have a table visual consisting of three columns: Code, Account Number and Client ID. I get 21 rows on the visual. the second I add a measure as the third column, all of a sudden, the rows get reduced to 13!! I'm not at all familiar with what might be happening here. Has anyone run into a situation like this? I know you might ask me for a sample file, but this is based on live connection to SSAS tabular model, and the relationships are complex. I just wanted a high-level idea as to what might be happeneing. I understand if the measure produces incorrect values; but for it to somehow shrink the number of rows in the existing visual, that is alien to me.

 

So, basically, has anyone experienced a similar situation where adding a measure to a table visual causes it to shrink? Do you know of an article or some reading that might be related to this?

    Hi yasbos 
    Reduding of rows happens because of filter context.

    It works with the same logic as pivot at Excel.
    I suppose that your measure has some aggregation effect / for some rows that return no value.
    There are a few steps you can apply to see all rows (my be just one of them)
    1. Select the option of "don't summarize " for your categorical columns
    2. To check on the option "Show values with no data"

    3. add "+0" to your measure.

    Unfortunately, I am out of the limit of pictures that I can add to the discussions so I put the screenshots to PowerPoint you can download them from here: Link to the file

      Thanks so much, Ritaf1983  you are awesome. That's all that I needed. I just needed some validation that this is normal and what type of circumstances can cause it. Now, I can review my measure (which does have aggregations, indeed) in light of your insights. Thanks again.
