Adding Tables

Hi:
Does Microsoft Power BI allow for adding tables, later, after you have created a report?
I started a report and, then, clicked "Get Data" to add another table through the "Online Services" selection in order to try to pull in another Business Central table. 

But, the window did not have the table "checked" that I had already had in the report.  It was as if I had to start over.  Thanks!

You can add tables. At any time. BI is evolving and that is a common thing that happens. Just use get data again. You need to take care of any table already there is same connection is not detected

HI @Anonymous,

If you not in live connection, power bi allow you to add other data sources to it. (live connection only allow link to one data source per report) You can get data to choose Datasource or manually enter new datasources by click enter data option. 

In addition, you can also add a calculated table to create new tables based on the expression.

Hi @Anonymous ,

 

You can add additional tables to your model after creating a report at any moment, not really sure what you mean with "the window did not have the table "checked" that I had already had in the report.  It was as if I had to start over".

 

If you click on Get Data once again you will not get the table that you already have on your model since that one is saved as a different table on your model so will not show on the process when you go and get data, if on the second time you click the same table that will duplicate the table so no need to see it again.
