Hello,
I am looking add page numbers in the Power BI Desktop report, similar to other microsoft tools such as word which has page number as the footer and its incremeting.
Appreciate if anyone has any solution on this.
Thanks
Ok, I knew this but was checking if someone in the community had learnt or if this got implemented in the power bi via certain feature that I was not aware of.
Anyway. thanks.
@Anonymous unfortunatelly, there is no built-in feature to add page numbers in Power BI. Futhermore, there is no DAX function which could retrieve page name, page number or page index.
Alternatives:
1) manually adding text box on each page
2) if each page has static filter, you can have one DAX measure which has switch statement based on selected value and then returns specific page number (related to selected value). But again, this is something that requires maintaning each time there is new/deleted page or there is some kind of reordering
Cheers,
Nemanja
