Hello. I want to have logos of companies (suppliers) in Power BI visuals.
My data contains the names of a lot of suppliers. What I want is to have the logos of all suppliers (or at least the top suppliers by spend) in my report. (Note: I want an automatice method, and not the manual entry of URLs to grab logos).
For Example (mock-up):
Refer below attached picture. Power BI should automatically pick the logo of supplier from internet and show it against the name of supplier.
PS: I did an excercise by taking the URL of logos and creating a hard-coded file for logos, but that is not an easy way to go as I have a 'lot' of supplier names. What I want is the tool to automatically grab logos of all (or at least the top famous) suppliers.
(I don't know how it works - May be I would need some API, etc).
Thank you.
But where do I get the URLs from?
I don't want to copy-paste all the URLs manually. What I want is the tool to automatically pick logo from internet and display it in the visual.
For Example, if supplier name is Microsoft, it automatically looks for it on internet and displays the following logo:
If you have a website where you pick all your logos from then you can create Url column in power query that will combine core URL with the name of the file.
Thanks @Mariusz
In fact, getting the URLs of all logos is the main challenge. I don't have a website from where I get the logos.
As I mentioned, I have already done a small excercise by taking individual URLs for a couple of companies' logos to create a table, but what I want is the tool to grab logos automatically from internet.
