hi everyone,
I have created a line chart in power BI that plot the variable 1 over time. I would like to add a tag to specific points in the graph only (i.e. when time t = 200s, t = 300s and t = 400 s) that explains when it's happening at each point in time (i.e. start, mid, finish).
Is there a way to add text to explain certain points/events in a line chart?
I can only doing adding a text box that explains what I need but I would rather have a tag close to the point being plotted if possible.
thanks a lot in advance
best regards
Laura
Can you create new group for the time axis, and set the bin size to 100?

Hi @Anonymous ,
Thank you for your message. I'm not sure how taht would work to show the text on each point of interest though?
Also, the points in time where I need to show the tag are not all equally separated by 100 so it could be 200 s, 290 s, 350 s etc.
Thank you,
Best regarrds
Laura
Well, you could create a measure that displays the appropriate text at the specific values and add that as a tooltip. Other than that, I think you would need to look at third party visuals.
Hi @Greg_Deckler ,
Thanks for your message. I created the measure to display the Text I need for certain points in time, however I would like to have it visible in the graph at all times vs in only when placing the mouse on it (as a tooltoip). Is there a way to have it displayed as well in the graph?
Thanks again,
Best regards
Laura
