Add new column dataset

Hi, 

I have a new column in my dataset, when I use "Refresh data" button BI gives me an error: "column doesn't exist". How can I add a new column in the dataset without change the entire report ?

    margheritaiacob , Are you using a power bi dataset, and you added it to the dataset?

    The information you have provided is not making the problem clear to me. Can you please explain with an example.

    In my source I added a new column, when I refresh data on BI it gives me an error: Column doesn't exist. How can I add the new column ? I hope it's clear

    Hi margheritaiacob ,

     

    Do you have a column named "#"?

    Please go to the previous step to check the column named "#" if it is exists.

      Yes, I have it but I'm not sure the problem is the name of the column but the new column (in this case called #). I can't refresh data of my reports beacause of the new column added in the source (who comes from a .csv file)
