Add narrative text tooltips to a chart

Hi members,

 

Does anyone know how to add narrative text tooltips to specific datapoints in a chart?

      Hi amitchandak,

       

      Thank you for the tooltips link.

       

      However, do you know how to make the tooltips static? As in, fix the remarks on the datapoints. Thanks!

    Hi joeywong ,

    If you just want to insert a static text box, simply click Insert>Text box.

    You can enter text in the box and color the visual border if you want.

    Then drag the box to the point in the chart per your needs, get the result:

    I attach my sample below for your reference.

      Thank you for your suggestion.

       

      However, what happens when there are additional months and more bars within the graph? Will the text box move along with the data points?

        Hi joeywong ,

        Text box is something you can only drag it manually, if you have many bars, can you add more text boxes?
