Add a sort button to a bar chart

I am currently using a bar chart with field parameters on both the x and y axis. However, instead of using the built-in sort option in the options menu, I would prefer to sort the chart using a button or icon.

Is there a visual or a method that can support this?

thank you in advance.

Thank you for your response!

I actually have around 40 parameters on both axes, so bookmarks may not be the most suitable option for me.

Do you have any other suggestions or visual aids that you could recommend?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hi @adicarmeli_

Can you try using book mark option

Sort by the Y axis,X axis

Right click the book mark

Check Data, Display and Current page and ticked.

Then click Update.

Try this approach and let know.

Regards,

Rajendra

Look into bookmarks.

Add two buttons: [sort 1] and [sort 2].

Sort your chart by [sort 1] then save it as a [bookmark 1].

Do the same for [sort 2].

Then add two buttons.  In [button 1], select Action -> On -> Type -> Bookmark -> Bookmark -> [bookmark 1].

Then repeat for [button 2].

Or do the same as above but instead create two charts, and hide the one not being used using the View -> Selection menu.
