Add a Dynamic Value to a Text Box - July 2026

Apparently, adding a dynamic value to a text box is no longer permitted unless you submit to that frivolous and annoying "on object interaction."   Tell me I wrong.  Please.   I tried to do this ...

Thank MFelix & danextian ... I just discovered the problem.  It is still functioning but the interaction appears to have changed slightly.

 

Previously, when attempting to add a Value, it defaulted to the screen you offered danextian .

 

I wish I had got a screen shot when I posted this because that field "How would you like to calculate the value" was simply not there.

 

Looking it at today, I noticed it is there.

 

However, I also noticed there is an ever so slight delay in that row loading, causing it to momentarily appears as if it is not there.
