Add Table by Example not returning all rows?
Hi - I've been trying out the feature "add table by example" against the following website: https://hl7-definition.caristix.com/v2/HL7v2.8/TriggerEvents. I've noticed that for this site that Power BI only retrieves a small number of rows (just over a dozen rows) even though there is a large number of rows that could be retrieved (100 rows?) I don't see any pagination controls on the site, so I don't think this is an issue of needing to create a function that pages through the site. Does Power BI have a built-in limit to the number of rows it will query using "add table by example" or does this particular site have some sort of hidden pagination?
The advanced editor doesn't reveal any pagination, either. Weird.
Thanks in advance,
Pete

Hi -- below is the Advanced Editor code:
let Source = Web.BrowserContents("https://hl7-definition.caristix.com/v2/HL7v2.8/TriggerEvents"), #"Extracted Table From Html" = Html.Table(Source, {{"Column1", ".mat-h3"}, {"Column2", "P[cdk-describedby-host=""""]"}}, [RowSelector=".mat-2-line"]), #"Changed Type" = Table.TransformColumnTypes(#"Extracted Table From Html",{{"Column1", type text}, {"Column2", type text}}), #"Renamed Columns" = Table.RenameColumns(#"Changed Type",{{"Column1", "Trigger"}, {"Column2", "DescriptionLong"}}) in #"Renamed Columns"Thanks

Hi PeteZ ,
There is no limit on the number of rows in this feature. The reason why it can only read a dozen rows is because the paging function of the website limits the data capture.
This is a common problem encountered by web spiders.
