Hello,
I have a date filter.
Is it possible for this filter to adapt according to the current date.
For example, I open my report, I want the end date to be the current date.
How do I do this?
I have a date table.
Thanks
Hello again @Kedar_Pande , @lbendlin ,
I looked and I can't apply his method.
My table is built like this:
Calendar = ADDCOLUMNS(
CALENDAR(EDATE(TODAY(), -36), TODAY()),
"Datekey",ROUNDDOWN([Date],0),
"Annee",YEAR([Date]),
"Mois",MONTH([Date]),
"Jour",DAY([Date]),
)
My "date" column starts from today to 10/02/2021.
I use the following segment:
I would like the end date to be systematically today's or yesterday's date.
Use a dropdown slicer, not a "between" slicer. Better - don't use a slicer at all. Use the Filter pane.
@lbendlin
Can you show me an dropdown slicer segment?
I still want users to be able to filter dates.
Hello, I am looking at your proposals.
I will test and get back to you.
- create a string representation of your date column, replace the latest date with a string "Latest"
- sort that new column by the original date column
- add a slicer or visual/page/report level filter
- set the filter to "Latest"
- publish the pbix to the workspace/app
