Hi,
I have the line chart below.
The markers are different projects which are annonomised and what I would like to do is only display the line for projects that haven't been annonmised.
Is there a way I can do this?
@Fali324 Can you explain a bit more what you're trying to do? I think DAX and possibly calculation groups will help you.

Hi, My data structure is following:
Table - project details
Columns:
Project name - String
Project Annonmised - Boolean
Project Name Displayed - String
Project Number - Whole Number
Table - Stage
Stage - String
Duration - Whole Number
Job Number - Whole number
At the moment, I'm using a line graph which the stage on the x axis, Duration on the Y axis and then I've put the job number in the legend to get all the enteries for indiviual projects.
I have a slicer at the top which has the fields: Project Annonmised and Project Name. At any given point there will be atleast one project which is not annonomised, the rest will be marked as True and the project names will not be visible.
What I would like to do is for all projects marked as False under Project Annonmised the line should connect all the relevent markers and for all the projects marked as true it should only show the markers.
Thank you for looking at this, your help is really appriciated.
Thanks,
Farhad
Hi @Fali324 ,
According to your description, you want to show the lines of inactive items on the power bi line chart, and for the lines of activated items only the data points are shown. In the current version of power bi desktop we are not able to realize such visual objects. We can only show selected or unselected data folds according to the category slicer.
However, you can try to create a combination of a line chart and a scatter plot using the Charticulator. This way you can use the slicer in conjunction with the measure to control whether or not the lines appear.
