Access control in PowerBI desktop

I am planning to co-develop a report using powerbi desktop. Report will be based on on-premise database (SQL) and excel files on shared network. I will share .pbix files with multiple colleagues within the organization. What all access control methods exist to ensure that unauthorised people do not get access to data? (Different methods of user authentication in PowerBI desktop)
