Hi,
I have been asked to work on a power bi project for reporting/visualizing data of the instances / AMIs / availability zones/performance/usage/load, etc of our company's AWS environment.
From what I know right now, they are EC2 instances. I am still learning what AWS is all about, but I can't seem to find enough data online to show how to connect to the console of AWS and see logs and other data.
Can anyone help guide?

@SahilBakshi - Not sure about what AWS logs/audit logs offer in terms of connectivity. There are lots of examples of dealing with Azure audit logs but I have no idea if AWS even offers something like ODATA connectivity to their audit logs. I would refer to some AWS forum and ask the question of what connectivity options exist for AWS audit and other logs. I did some searching and the documentation and such seems to be really lacking and extremely poor overall.

Hi @Greg_Deckler ,
Its weird how there is not many posts or even questions by people on the connectivity of AWS to Power Bi. It's one of the biggest players in the cloud world.
I'll ask in AWS forums i guess. Thanks!
Hi @SahilBakshi ,
I am facing the same issue here. Have you figured out how to connect Power BI to AWS on EC2? If you have, do you mind sharing how you went about it?
I would really appreciate it!
Regards,
@SahilBakshi - Well, there are posts from time to time about connectivity to S3 storage, Redshift, etc. but, I would guess that a lot of people that have adopted Power BI would tend to be Microsoft shops and thus would favor Azure.
