Hi powerbiexpert22,
This is a really valuable reference, thank you for putting this together! Having the features mapped against Target Persona, Native/Copilot, and Desktop/Service availability in one place makes it immediately actionable for anyone trying to understand where AI fits in their Power BI workflow.
The coverage is impressive. A few things you might consider adding to make it even more comprehensive:
- Copilot in Power BI Mobile: the availability column could reflect mobile as a third surface alongside Desktop/Service, since Copilot is now accessible there too
- Narrative with Copilot (distinct from Smart Narrative): lets report authors generate AI-written summaries directly in the Service with Copilot, worth separating out
- Report page summarization via Copilot pane: slightly different from the existing summarization row, as it targets the consumption experience in the Service
- Copilot for Paginated Reports: now available in the Service, relevant for Authors
- Data Q&A / natural language in dashboards: older Native feature but still distinct from the Q&A Visual row
- Fabric Copilot in Dataflows Gen2 / Data Factory: if you're scoping beyond pure Power BI Desktop/Service into the Fabric workspace, this could round it out
That said, if the intent is strictly Power BI (not the broader Fabric surface), the list is very complete. The Native vs Copilot distinction is a particularly smart column, a lot of people conflate the two and this makes it crystal clear.
Really useful contribution to the community, looking forward to seeing it expanded! 👍
