A slicer or a switch button to change graph type

Hello

Is it possible to switch graph visual with a simple switch button?

I have a monthly volume data by brand by different format.

Volume Split.png

With the data above, I would like to show these 2 visuals.

1. 100% stacked

2. Regular graph

But I would like to have a slicer or a button that allows me to show just one of them.

I have other visuals in a page, so I don't have enough space for both.

So If I click on 100% stacked, it will show me just 100% graph, and vice versa.

How is this possible?

Hi @hidenseek9

This can be easily achieved using field parameters. Use a standard stacked chart and create field parameters to toggle between measures—Volume and Volume %.

@hidenseek9 ,
you can switch the visual with buttons using bookmark.
https://www.popautomation.com/post/power-bi-switch-visuals-with-buttons

And also you can duplicate the page and replace the visual, use buttons to navigate bewteen the pages. Hide one page, which looks the same but easy to create instead a bookmark.

If this helps, Appreciate your KUDOS!

Hi @hidenseek9

It is possible to do it using a bookmark.

1. Create both chart.
2. Insert two blank button and name them accordingly.
3. Create two bookmark name them 100%Stacked and Regular.
4. assign this bookmark to the button by clicking on button and then enable action and assign there.
