A simple timeline visual?

I'd like to present a relatively simple timeline, nothing nearly so complex as most examples I've seen here.  I have a sequence of fewer than ten times in HH:MM:SS format, all for the same date.  What I'd like to do is present a color-coded timeline for an event over a period of twelve hours or less, with values defining the green, yellow, and red time limits, as well as the actual value plotted along that timeline.  As an example, the data might be:

Event1, StartTime, GreenLimit, YellowLimit, RedLimit, EndTime, ActualTime

"eventQ",00:00:01, 01:30:00, 01:45:00, 02:00:00, 05:00:00, 02:15:00

"eventR", 01:00:00, 02:00:00, 02:30:00, 03:00:00, 05:00:00, 01:45:00

"eventS", 04:00:00, 04:30:00, 04:45:00, 05:00:00, 07:00:00, 04:37:00

For any event, the timeline would appear green from StartTime to GreenLimit, yellow from GreenLimit to YellowLimit, red from YellowLimit to RedLimit, and black from RedLimit to EndTime, with ActualTime displayed at an appropriate location on the line.  I'm beginning to think my only option is a custom R script or an export of the data to Excel?

Hi @FredTheFrog,

I'm beginning to think my only option is a custom R script or an export of the data to Excel?

I'm afraid so.

In addition, I would suggest you add it as an idea on Power BI Ideas forum to improve Power BI on this feature. Smiley Happy

Thank you for responding!  I did notice that Dean Attali's excellent timvis package is compatible with PowerBI.  I need to see what I can do with that.  It seems most people's timelines focus on dates, whereas mine needs to focus on times in hours:minutes.  Timevis has a zoom capability, which I need to review.
