A button to mimic Ctrl+P

My users access reports in PowerBI Service via an embedded link, they do not get to see the PowerBI Service menus.

For printing, they use Ctrl+P keyboard shortcut to print a report using the browser's print dialog box.

Is there a way to add a button to a PowerBI report that would mimic the Ctrl+P functionality?  a button that would launches the browser's print dialog box?

Please advise!

Was anyone able to create a button with JavaScript that would invoke the browser's print dialog box?

Any recommendation on this is greatly aprecited...

Hi @RichFlorida ,

As far as I know, Power BI does not currently support the ability to trigger printing from the browser via a button.

Perhaps you can add your users into roles in your workspace, and then your users can be exported by clicking on Export>PDF.

Export reports to PDF - Power BI | Microsoft Learn

If a user is outside the organization, they can be invited as a guest user.

Distribute content to external guest users with Microsoft Entra B2B - Power BI | Microsoft Learn
