2022 January Power BI Desktop Feature Summary

Hi,

I noticed that while we have a new Power BI Desktop update for 2022 January, we don’t have a feature summary blog post on the Power BI blog or a You Tube video of the update on the Microsoft Power BI YouTube channel. Does anyone know if we’ll be getting one to explain what’s in the 2022 January update?

I noticed last year as well there was no YouTube video or blog post for the 2021 January Power BI Desktop update … so not sure if this is something that happens every January.

This is not feature summary for January, just an updated December version. As far as I noticed last years there is no January update

Hmmm ... thanks. But there is an updated exe for January 2022 right?

So how do I know what changed from the 2021 December version to the 2022 January version?

It is a fix I believe, in other months you can see a new version maybe a day before/same day of official release. If you download and install it, you can check that the version is December

I installed it and as you said, even though the release date is in January 2022, it still has it as a December 2021 version.
