2017 October Update:- The new Bookmark/Selection based Buttons
Hi Community,
As we know there are multiple new features in Oct update, and using those we can sort of a button effect to click on images/shapes and hide/unhide visuals and change states.
Awesome feature, bringing PBI to next level. But does this not work on the Live pin pages in dashboards.
This is a bit unusal as all other typel of filtering works on live pages.
Has anyone else tried this?

Currently, the bookmark feature only works on report level, it will not work in dashboard. Regarding to the issue, you can submit a feature request that add bookmark in dashboard tiles in Power BI ideas forum: https://ideas.powerbi.com/forums/265200 .

Yes we have awesome features in this month.
interaction won't work in Dashboard.
if u want to interaction please pin the intire report to dashboard and try.
Note:
in dashboard it won't work, it look like interaction in dashboard.

Didn't really get what is meant from 'pin entire report'.
I did pined entire page though but that didn't work. I am not sure if I can pin entire report?

Anonymous I did tried these things in my report.

And i also did tried by 'pin the complete page(single page at a time)' and also single tile(visuals) to check these things, that whether these things works at dashboard or not.
But unfortunately not. the new features like, button, link, bookmark.. all these will works only in report.
