2 way table comparison with 3 columns
- 4 years ago
Hi, Protocoder
You can try the following methods.
Column:
Look1 = LOOKUPVALUE(Table1[Column],Table1[Column],[Column1])Look2 = LOOKUPVALUE(Table1[Column],Table1[Column],[Column2])This is the result of the matching of column 1 of Table 1 and column 2 of Table each. Does this meet your expectations? If not, please tell us what you expect the result to be?

Hello v-zhangti
I really appreciate your time and help. I have this solution in the search was specifically looking in M language, some guidelines suggest to use M language as the people receiving it are comfortable with M rather than DAX.
anyways there are some exceptions too. If getting this in M is not possible I will accept DAX,
I made the following changes more in line of what output I needed.
Look1 = IF (
LOOKUPVALUE(Table1[Column],Table1[Column],Table2[Column1]) <> BLANK (),
BLANK (),
"No Matching"
)Is that ok? Results seems ok.
