## 2 Fact table - How to sum the values in to

Dears, need your help,

i have 2 fact table in my model , which is connected to date table and a Dim table(Driver).

Is there any way the model consider 2 fact table as one and get the total values of LC amount column from both table without sum both individual measures.

Total PE & SO = SUM('PE & SO'[ LC amnt])
Total BDA = SUM(BDA[ Amount LC])
Total = [Total BDA] + [Total PE & SO]

regards,

Ansar.

Thanks @SpartaBI , let me know my understand is clear from your reply

1. both fact table is not having similar structure only few fields are common (Date, Driver, Agreement #) so append in power query is also not a good option

2. combine both measure in to one dax formula is the solution suggested, then we can slice n dice based on dim table relation ship.

@ansar yes 🙂
You can also just put everthing in one measure, in case you don't use the other two for anything else excpet for the final one. It's the same, just fewer measures in the pane on the right. No impact on result or performance.

Total = SUM(BDA[ Amount LC]) + SUM('PE & SO'[ LC amnt])

@ansar no 🙂
If these two tables are the same structure and only diffrentiate by one column you can union them in Power Query or in DAX and have a column that will have 2 values: BDA and PE & SO. Then you could just create one measure and slice and dice by filters on that column etc.
