I have guest user contributor access to the client's workspace, but I'm unable to set up a Lakehouse or Warehouse as the destination in Dataflow Gen2. While I can see the lakehouses, I encounter credential issues when I try to select one. This is a straightforward use case, but it's not working as expected.
Is this scenario unsupported, or is there a workaround?
I am added as a guest user to the workspace and I access the workspace using this option
Does your user have the current tenant as the primary tenant? Or does it have a different tenant for it?
id recommend using the "switch user" when creating a connection during the data destination process to make sure that you're setting the correct credentials, but the lakehouse, warehouse,Dataflows and other singleton connectors will default to the primary tenant information. It is recommended that you use a user from within the tenant that you're working in.
You need direct visibility to the SQL endpoints.
Hello the client is using a fabric capacity... Is a gateway needed in this scenario?
As per my current understanding yes - when your data source is on-premise.
Thanks but we don't have any on premise data source... All connections are cloud connectiond
