The SSAS connector was initially available when gen2 Dataflows rolled out. As of this week, they have disappeared from the connector selection menu. Did it get discontinued or is there an issue that's being fixed? It's still listed in the official documentation as being available.

Hey!
Similar to Power BI Dataflows, Dataflows Gen2 has some limitations. In this case the connector in question is not available in either product (Dataflows Gen1 or Gen2), but it was listed in Dataflows Gen2 as a mistake. We were made aware of this issue and have since removed the connector from the list.
We are in the process of updating the documentation so you should be seeing that get updated soon. In the meantime, you can use this communication directly from me as the official statement from Microsoft around this particular connector and how it is not yet available for Dataflow Gen1 or Gen2.
You can also use the official documentation from the Power Query docs. Link below:

Thanks for the reply. Interesting and disappointing. Is there any plan to add the SSAS connector in the future? Or was it simply a mistake? Just a heads up that it still appears in the Power Apps Dataflows interface.

Just to confirm, and based on the connector documentation article that I shared, the connector is supported in Power Platform dataflows.
