I am trying to import from NetSuite into Dataflows gen2. I installed the NetSuite ODBC drivers locally and tried to connect using a gateway installed on another server. That's when I got the "doesn't correspond to an installed ODBC driver" error. Then I installed a local gateway but the Dataflows ODBC wizard doesn't detect local gateways even though it shows up in the installed gateways list. That leads to ask two "just to be sure" type questions:
1. I cannot use a personal Power BI gateway installed locally on my laptop for this purpose?
2. I have to install the NetSuite ODBC drivers on the remote Power BI gateway server?

Hi @ebjim
Thanks for using Fabric Community.
Personal Gateway :
Personal gateways are designed for internal data sources within your organization's network, not for external cloud services like NetSuite. No, you cannot directly use a personal Power BI Gateway installed locally on your laptop for connecting to NetSuite in Dataflows gen2.
Driver Installation:
Dataflows gen2 relies on the gateway to act as an intermediary between Power BI and external data sources. Since the connection happens on the server, the required drivers must be accessible there for the gateway to recognize and utilize them. Yes, you need to install the NetSuite ODBC drivers on the remote Power BI Gateway server where you plan to establish the connection.
Hope this helps. Please let me know if you have any further questions.
Did you get it working?
