Hi all,
I have a dataflow in my lakehouse to get data. But when my colleague wants to edit my dataflow, he cannot.
I couldn't find any solution.
Is there any way to work together on a one dataflow?
Thanks.

Hi @BeyzaKzlky
Thanks for using Microsoft Fabric Community.
At this time, we are reaching out to the internal team to get some help on this. We will update you once we hear back from them.
Appreciate your patience.
Thanks
Only the owner can edit a dataflow. For someone else to edit it, they need to go into the settings and take over ownership. This breaks all data connections, so they need to go into the editor and reconnect/reauthenticate before it will work again.
It's a pretty poor design. I was hoping they'd fix it when they created Gen2 dataflows.

Actually @Joshrodgers123 , you don't need to break connections at all. Just create a connection manually and share with your team.
Details here (it's for cloud, but can be used for other types of connections too): https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/connect-data/service-create-share-cloud-data-sources
Hi @BeyzaKzlky
Glad that your query got resolved.
Please continue using Fabric Community for any help regarding your queries.
Hey,
Is there any error message that your colleague is seeing while trying to edit?
My guess is you might not have shared the connection that you created with your colleague.
