My Colleague Cannot Edit My Dataflow Gen2

Hi all,

I have a dataflow in my lakehouse to get data. But when my colleague wants to edit my dataflow, he cannot.

I couldn't find any solution.

Is there any way to work together on a one dataflow?

Thanks.

  • Only the owner can edit a dataflow. For someone else to edit it, they need to go into the settings and take over ownership. This breaks all data connections, so they need to go into the editor and reconnect/reauthenticate before it will work again.

It's a pretty poor design. I was hoping they'd fix it when they created Gen2 dataflows.

  • Hey,

Is there any error message that your colleague is seeing while trying to edit?

My guess is you might not have shared the connection that you created with your colleague.
