I have a Dataflow in Fabric that connects to an on premise SQL Server and last week it was working and this week I am getting this error: Error Code: 999999, Error Details: Couldn't refresh the entity because of an issue with the mashup document MashupException.Error: The value is not updatable.
I got this error yesterday morning and had the data gateway updated yesterday afternoon in case this was the issue, but I still get the error. The previous version of the gateway was only installed 2 weeks ago. The current version of the gateway is 3000.198.9.
When I view the output in Dataflow it looks ok and is able to refresh. Also there are no errors in the data.

Hi - we were receiving the same error but can confirm that this has gone away with the latest update for the November gateway - version 3000.198.17 (November 2023) released on 11/16/2023. Hope this helps rather than having to downgrade to a September version. This version can be found here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=53127
Hi @Anonymous , I'm getting the same Error Code: 999999, Error Details: Couldn't refresh the entity because of an issue with the mashup document MashupException.Error: The value is not updatable.
as @knaidoo13 , yesterday we just updated our OnPremise DataGateway to the latest version 3000.182.4
PS : The Fabric documentation here explicitely talks about similar error and mention the upgrade to the latest OnPrem Gateway Version
Hi @Anonymous we didn't get any feedback from you on that matter so I created the support case 2311230050001043 ; please let me know if in the meantime you got any insight how to fix this issue so I can close my case. Thanks
it's seems that upgrading to version 3000.198.17 (November) fixed the issue
Hello @GuillaumeBer ,
Apologies for the delay in reply from our side. Yes, you are correct.
I also checked again with internal team, latest release on On-Prem Data Gateway (version 3000.198.17 ) - resolves the issue.
Download On-premises data gateway from Official Microsoft Download Center
FYI: @m_cherriman , @knetkio , @gthill
Hope this is helpful. Please let me know incase of further queries.
