In Fabric, restrict users to a specific module

Hello Community!
We are about to implement MS Fabric for our customer, soon.
Is it possible in Microsoft Fabric to restrict parts of the tools to certain people and give them authorisations for certain tools? For example, a Data Engineer should only have access to the Data Factory, a Data Scientist only to a Data Lakehous Notebook and a Report Developer only to Power BI?

Based on my understanding, unfortunately there is no such granular access present as of today.

Any one added in Admin portal to access/creta fabric items can create all fabric items and no specific restriction can be added

Hi @sonyxkis

Thank you very much NandanHegde for your prompt reply.

I'm afraid NandanHegde is right. Permissions typically apply to a workspace or item.

For more information you can check out the following links:

Permission model - Microsoft Fabric | Microsoft Learn

Item permissions are used to control access to individual Fabric items in the workspace. Use item permissions control who can view, modify, and manage individual items in a workspace.

Thank you @NandanHegde for this clarification. I had expected that there was no technical solution for this, but I wanted to make sure again. Best regards.
