How to export dataflow/lakehouse table as excel

Hi,

Is it possible to direct the data flow's destination to a local Excel file or export a table from the Lakehouse as an Excel file? Thanks a lot!

Unfortunately, as of today neither the Dataflow Gen 2 nor the data pipelines support excel format in the sink property.

So you would have to use notebook/custom code to generate the excel file
