I know the staging warehouse, lakehouse, and default semantic models were removed from the workspace list, but they still show up in the OneLake Hub and in the workspace list when getting data in dataflows or setting a data destinations.
Are these going to be hidden in the future? They add a bit of clutter since each workspace has 5 of these artifacts created.

Hi @Joshrodgers123 ,
Apologies for the inconvience. One lake data hub and Power BI desktop UI is handled by different team internally and they haven't planned this implementation.
As I said before there is already a plan to implement a mechanism to delete them upon deletion of the last Dataflow in the workspace.
I have also shared your feedback internally, respective team will have a look into it and going to plan in roadmap.
Appreciate if you could also share the feedback on our feedback channel. Which would be open for the user community to upvote & comment on. This allows our product teams to effectively prioritize your request against our existing feature backlog and gives insight into the potential impact of implementing the suggested feature.
Hope this helps. Please let me know if you have any further queries.
there is any update on this? I dont like end user accessing staging area...
Hi @Joshrodgers123 ,
Thanks for using Fabric Community.
As per the information these staging lakehouse and warehouses are going to be hidden as they are not mend to be used by end users. At this time, we are reaching out to the internal team to get some help on this.
We will update you once we hear back from them.
Hi @Joshrodgers123 ,
We have an update from internal team -
There are no plans to make them hidden in other places except the workspace list (and in the future the lineage view).
There is a plan however to implement a mechanism to delete them upon deletion of the last Dataflow in the workspace.
Hope this is helpful. Please let me know incase of further queries.
That's a bit disappointing. Why would they show up on the onelake data hub and in Power BI desktop for end users if they are not meant to be used?
