When do I get the new features/functionality posted in blog post ?

Hello,

I was reading a blog post regarding Clone table using time travel funcationality but when I go into my Fabric trail DWH I don't see this option is available.

Generally what is the time frame the new features/funcationalities posted in blog available to user?

Thank you @v-cboorla-msft and @HimanshuS-msft for answering to my question.

I understand that this feature was realased and you'll can experience it in your environment but however I can't see this option in my Fabric DHW, my question was, is the feature in public preview? if not when will it be available in public preview.

Here is the screenshot from my Fabric DWH as of 11/03/2023 2:30 PM CDT.

Hi @Anonymous

Sorry for the inconvenience that you were not able to see the new feature.

This feature in the UX is coming soon and our current plan is to ensure it is available in all regions by first week of December.

Appreciate your patience.

@v-cboorla-msft Thank you for helping me to understand.

Is there any direct answer to my orginal question?

Hi @Anonymous

Generally, the time frame for new features and functionalities posted in a MS Fabric blog to become available to users varies depending on the complexity of the feature or functionality and the release schedule of the product. In general, however, most new features and functionalities are available to users within a few weeks or months of being posted in a blog.

Thanks

Hi @Anonymous

Thanks for using Fabric Community.
As I understand that you are looking for a new feature Clone table using time travel functionality in Microsoft Fabric.

The feature is enabled and able to see the option enabled in Fabric Datawarehouse. The ability to clone tables is a powerful technique that not only empowers businesses to streamline reporting and analytics but also helps expedite development and testing processes.

I tried to do the repro and able to clone the table also. Please find the screenshots for reference.
