Hi, I am experiencing an issue where if I create a semantic model on top of a lakehouse with a direct lake connection. When I choose all tables in the lake, add them to the model and create it, then when I add extra columns in the lakehouse table, the semantic model doesn't reflect the new columns, even when refreshed. When I try to create a new model, then I guess it checks the schema again and sees the new columns.
Has anybody else had this issue?

This for sure does solve it. Kudos, you were more helpful than MS staff, thanks a lot.
Hi @egons11
Thanks for using Microsoft Fabric Community.
This is a known issue, when using OneLake integration for semantic models, you can export the data in a semantic model to OneLake. Data in the Semantic Model artifact in OneLake might be out of date, in comparison to the Semantic Model data. If you didn't previously export the semantic model, you don't see the data in OneLake. If you previously exported the semantic model and then added a calculated column or a calculated table column in an error state, you see an older version of the semantic model data in OneLake. The export doesn't happen and the updated data doesn't get exported to OneLake.
For reference please refer : Known issue - Semantic model export to OneLake fails for calculated columns in error state - Microso...
I hope this information helps. Please do let us know if you have any further queries.
Thank you.
