Semantic Model relationship issue
- 1 year ago
No haven't been able to resolve the issue. I still haven't only been able to get it working in Power BI and not a MS Fabric Semantic model. But for now that is ok, and I'm working with this.
Due to limitations on my fabric capacity I was probably going to move this to a Power BI SM in a different Capactiy anyway.
Hi Byzza,
Thank you for reaching out in Microsoft Community Forum.
Please follow below steps to resolve Semantic Model relationship issue;
1.Make sure the relationship is set to Many-to-one, active, and with Single cross-filter direction — as shown in your screenshot.
2.The DocEntry values in Production Order Line do not match those in Production Order. This mismatch is why filtering doesn't work in Excel.
3.Excel pivot tables don't fully honor model relationships unless fields are from dimension tables or measures are used.
4.Since the relationship works in Power BI (DirectQuery), use Power BI reports for this scenario to get accurate filter behavior.
