Payload Conversation error reading from Fabric SQL or Lakehouse

Hi I'm the admin in a workspace and when I provision a native SQL db in Fabric and try to read from it in a pipeline, it throws this error almost immedately upon run. However, I'm able to read and write from within the SQL editor just fine, I can create tables/functions and interact with the database just fine. It's only through the pipeline that I can't. What could it possibly be? All my permissions are in place.
