Thank you for your response.

I haven’t had the chance yet to restart the On-premises Data Gateway, but I will try that and keep you updated.

In the meantime, I would like to share a few additional details that might help:

  • This gateway has been recently created and this is one of its first uses
  • The issue seems to occur only with this MySQL source
  • I have another gateway connected to a SQL Server source, and it is working without any issue
  • In terms of infrastructure:
    • SQL Server is hosted on a virtual machine
    • MySQL is hosted on a local (on-premises) server

Given that Power BI can connect successfully to the same MySQL source via this gateway, the issue seems specific to Fabric Copy Job execution.

    Thanks for sharing these additional details, this is helpful, especially the information about the new gateway and the difference between SQL Server and MySQL setup.

    Since Power BI is able to connect successfully using the same gateway, it suggests the connectivity is working, and the issue may be specific to the Fabric Copy Job execution.

    As a next step, restarting the On-premises Data Gateway would be recommended, especially since the gateway was recently created.
