Linked Server from On Prem SQL Server to Fabric SQL Endpoint

Connectivity to data warehousing - Microsoft Fabric | Microsoft Learn

Linked server connections from SQL Server are not supported.

From this link, Its saying Linked Server Connections from SQL Server are not supported.

Can someone confirm. We would like to create Linked Server from On Prem SQL Server to Fabric SQL Endpoint. To query the data from On Prem SQL Server tables, Fabric tables in same query window.

Given in Fabric, Landing/Extract tables are in different workspace. Target tables Dim, Facts are in different workspace. Cross workspace querying is not allowed , need to see the option of Linked Server.
Also for Extract layer, where data is coming from SQL Server on prem, Oracle DB, Sybase DB etc. SQL Server allows Linked server for On prem, so looking if Fabric Endpoint also can be querying with Linked server for validations.
