Layout tabs in new semantic model

Hi, 

 

can someone explain to me whats the sense is of being able to create multiple layout tabs in a newly created model?

    Model View Layouts:

    In the Data Engineering experience of Microsoft Fabric, layouts within the Model View refer to tabs within the model view tool. These tabs allow you to:

    • Visually depict multiple data warehouse schemas separately within the same workspace.
    • Organize and manage complex database designs across different tabs for better clarity.
    • Each tab represents a distinct schema or sub-schema, facilitating easier navigation and understanding.

    However, these layouts do not persist changes you make to the underlying semantic model itself. They are primarily for visual organization within the modeling interface.

    When i create a new semantic model, i can create new layouts:

    I would like to understand the meaning of this function.
