How to make warehouse queries faster and make reports upto date without getting failed

How can make my fabric warehouse queries faster and make reports work without getting failed due to performance bottle necks

Hi @AdamMichael,

 

Here are some ways you can do this,

 

Make warehouse queries faster

  • Use start schema in the Data modelling, use partitions for the large fact tables.
  • Keep necessary columns only instead load unnecessary columns (Use Materlized View/SP to pre-aggregate)
  • Tune the SQL query to filter record on the earlier after selecting necessary columns.

 

Report Refresh issue/Query Failures
