Is there an updated time frame when the " Fabric Data Warehouse Drop/Rename Column" feature described at https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/fabric/release-plan/data-warehouse#alter-table-drop-rename-column will be implemented?

Hi @SGuidos,
Thanks for reaching out to the Microsoft Fabric Community.
As of now, the feature is scheduled for release in Q1 2025. However, specific dates within this timeframe have not been provided yet. We recommend keeping an eye on the Microsoft Fabric release plan for the most up-to-date information.
If you find this information useful, please “Accept it as a solution” and give it a 'Kudos' to assist others in locating it easily.
Thank you.
Rather than go that web site every day, is there any way for me to sign up for an Alert to be notified when the "Q1 2025" Fabric release occurs? If not, where can I suggest this "Alert" feature to Microsoft?
Hi @SGuidos,
Great question! Instead of checking the website daily, you can stay updated in the following ways:
check the What's New? - Microsoft Fabric | Microsoft Learn page for announcements (OR)
You can submit feedback or suggest an "Alert" feature on the Fabric Ideas - Microsoft Fabric Community, where the Microsoft team reviews community requests.
Hope this helps!
