ERROR ENABLING CHANGE DATA FEED (CDF) in Tables in Mirrored Database

Hi,

I'am trying to enable change data feed in my mirrored tables from azure sql in fabric and i get the following error.

Command:"ALTER TABLE [PRODCTL_F0005] SET  (delta.enableChangeDataFeed = true);"

Error: "Incorrect syntax near 'delta'.

Msg 102, Level 15, State 1, Code line 2

Each SQL statement runs as an independent session. Session context does not persist across SQL statements. Learn more"

I need the track of changes in the mirrored database in order to perform the transformations in silver lakehouse for only changed data.

Any help would be appreciated. This is a blocking point for our fabric implementation,

Thanks for using Fabric Community.

No, you cannot directly apply Change Data Feed (CDF) functionality within Azure SQL Database. CDF, specifically the delta.enableChangeDataFeed syntax, is a feature exclusive to Delta Lake
