Database Mirroring Error: 'PowerBI User with prefix not found'
I am trying out Mirroring, and not getting very far.
1) I chose NOT to mirror all data, and am trying to choose a single table
2) I get lots of red Xs on tables (because no primary key exists, which is listed in the LIMITATIONS, so I get that)
3) After choosing a single table for testing, I get a very weird message about 'PowerBI User with prefix [REDACTED] not found'. The [REDACTED] part in the message happens to be the name of the database I am trying to mirror (i didn't want to include that detail here). I am not sure what this means or how to resolve. Is it looking for some sort of 'managed identity'?

Hello,
Have you tried turning on this setting in the Power BI Admin portal:I also needed to add the Azure SQL Server principal name as an admin to the workspace that the mirroring is taking place.
