DATA ISN'T FOUND

    Hi Anonymous ,

     

    Use Dataflow Gen2 to get the data then do the data cleansing transformation on Power Query Online and finally write it to Lakehouse by setting Destination.

     

    When I Connect Lakehouse directly in Power BI Desktop I am also unable to find my data as shown in the screenshot below.

     

    The solution is to select the “Connect to SQL endpoint” option and then choose to connect to the data in Import or Direct Query mode.

     

    At this point you can see it works fine.

I tried that but it was not working. I went back into my data flow changed all tables to enable staging and now it works but I have to select connect if I want to grab it from my data flow. Everything is transfering over to the lake house I think 

I also wanted to ask I have been trying to get the data lake DATE table month to be in chronological order. I tried creating a custom If statement and it's organizing it if I pull the dataflow data from get data but if I get the data thru the data lake I see the columns I added but the sorting is not working. I wanted to ask if it would be okay for me to just start pull the get data from the data flow instead of the data lake since I am having such a huge issue with this. The company will be pulling the data the way I recommend and I want to recommend the best path.
