How do I connect to a data warehouse using SQL Server Management Studio? What permissions do I need to do this?
Currently, it is not possible to connect the warehouse using SSMS instead you can use Azure Data Studio or Visual Studio code to connect to the warehouse

Thanks and Regards,
Atma.
To connect to a warehouse in SSMS, you must first download SSMS (https://learn.microsoft.com/sql/ssms/download-sql-server-management-studio-ssms) and have access to a warehouse item within a premium per capacity workspace with contributor or above permissions. Once you have access, you can connect using the provided T-SQL Connection String for your Data Warehouse.
