Has anyone tried yo connect cognos IBM analytics to a fabric data warehouse? We recently migrated our MS sql server to a fabric data warehouse but I don't know how to redirect the Cognos framework model?

Hi @joachimejans
Please find the steps to connect the IBM cognos in Fabric.
Open your Fabric Data Warehouse in Microsoft Fabric and copy the SQL connection string and database name from the “SQL connection” settings.
On the Cognos server, install ODBC Driver 18 for SQL Server (or later) if it's not already installed.
Open "ODBC Data Sources (64-bit)" and create a new System DSN using the driver. Set the server as the Fabric SQL endpoint, choose SQL authentication, enable encryption, and trust the server certificate.
In the Cognos Administration portal, go to Configuration > Data Source Connections and create a new data source using the ODBC type. Select the DSN you created, provide the same SQL credentials, test the connection, and save it.
If you're using Cognos Framework Manager, open your existing model, go to the data source, and replace the old SQL Server source with the new Fabric ODBC source. Re-import metadata if the schema has changed, validate, and republish the package.
Open your Cognos reports or dashboards and test them using the updated package. Verify data loads correctly and performance is acceptable.
Make sure your Fabric access is limited to the necessary read roles, verify that port 1433 is open for outbound traffic, and use materialized tables in Fabric for better performance if needed.
