When you have 10's of thousands of Tweets about your event, how do you know what to focus on or what the sentiment of the crowd is? tyGraph for Twitter allows you to do just that. It is purpose built for major events to process Twitter traffic and report it in different ways through 6 context filled reports. Moreover, the public can see their position on the leader board and this has proven to drive traffic through the roof. Influencers are drawn from the crowd, not simply by tweet volume, but through a complex algorithm of reach and response.
The geeky stuff about how it is built. Twitter traffic is captured via Microsoft Flow. The data is streamed through an Azure ML process to obtain Sentiment Analaysis and Keyword Analysis. The data is then fed into a Power BI model and published to the web. Event Managers see the data in real time and the public sees the data reresh once per hour.
