THOR data set is an important military data repository in the USA. 

This is open data about the history of war. 

I have chosen a dataset published in Kaggel to illustrate the use of a timeline. I have added more filters to the timeline when with countries, the unit and the takeoff location on page 2, and the timeline just for another way to slice without hiding the dataset in the actual timeline. Was interesting to discover that the flag custom visual filter didn't work for timeline 😞

Also, Timeline started from the beginning the recording each time I have filtered the data externally. 

Will definitely explore more this wonderful visual tool!
